I have standard halogen headlights in my 04 camry, but want to put xenon bulbs on it. Is there anything special I have to do before I install the xenon bulb?

I was just wondering is there any harm if I replace my low beam light bulbs with 100 watt Xenon bulbs. my original bulbs are 55 watt. It is Kia optima 2004.

im looking for some offroad lghting for my jeep. if someone could tell e the difference between halogen and xenon bulbs it would be greatly appriciated

I just bought some EuroDezigns 8000K Xenon Bulbs. I’m afraid they will be TOO bright and I will get pulled over. The box says DOT approved, but I would like a second opinion.

So I know you need to upgrade your wiring add a balast and replace the sockets for HID’s but do Xenon bulbs work stock? (eg those made by eurolite) If upgrades are needed what are they?

I’m currently comparing work flashlights. I need to light up large areas and see long distances. I narrowed it down to a streamlight and now need some more info that I can’t find. The UltraStinger has a Xenon bulb with 75,000 candlepower, which is exatcly what I am looking for, but I read that the bulb only lasts 30 hours. I know that the halogen bulbs last much longer, but the highest CP I can find is 40,000 for the halogen. Does anyone know if the Xenon bulbs last longer than I read?

I just purchased an 07 Kawasaki Ninja 500r. I have 400 miles on it so far and purchased an HID Upgrade today. Here is what I have. The ballast says Pilot USA HID. HID Ballast for Xenon Bulbs.

I believe the model number (which is right above the S/N is "CNBRT-001-HID"

Can someone explain how to install this. I purchased it from the place I bought the bike. They said the hardest part was to find a place to mount the ballast. The kit will hook up to the stock harness with no problems. Do I need to take the fairing off to get inside the headlight casing? Can I do this from the back of the casing. I have been searching around and can not find any information on my particular bike. THe light is a 35W 6000K H4 bulb. Thank you so much. I was thinking of changing to xenon headlights for my car. I have factory stock headlights installed on my car right now. in other words i have the halogen headlights. Am i able to just change the light bulbs or do i need to purchase something that will light the xenon bulbs?

I am looking to get new headlight, fog light and possibly tail light bulbs for my 05 pontiac grand am GT…. a few questions about Xenon and LED bulbs…

which is brighter?
which lastst longer?
which pulls less power from the battery?

any other suggestions?

Where can I get those installed and how much would it cost?
