Driving at Night with the HID / Xenon Headlights
Here I am driving around at 2 am showing how the HID / Xenon Headlights make a big difference. I hope this uploads in High Quality, as I have made the Video. These HIDS are 6000K version. HID kits are available down to 4500 K and up to 30000 K which will be less light.
Illegal HID ? New Adjustable HID for OEM Housing No More Glare
Alot of HID manufacturers do not give a tiny rats ass where the arc is in the headlight housing thus creating distorted light and pissed off people. Projector lens is not the only remedy for ill positioned arc. Although they do dramatically reduce this distortion. A more affordable solution is adjustable Xenon bulbs. You adjust the bulb by turning a knob on the back of the bulb to match OEM. Currently available for most single beam bulbs like H1, 9005, 9006, H11, H7,H10. Sorry If I wasn’t clear. If you have any questions, please hit the reply button so that others may benefit from info.
Fenix TK35 vs. 6-D Cell Maglite with Xenon upgrade bulb
Fenix is obviously much brighter then the Maglite. The Maglite is much longer and heavier then the Fenix TK35. The Fenix TK35 is a little bit smaller then a 2-D Cell flashlight and lighter. The Fenix TK35 uses the CREE XM-L LED and four CR123 batteries (or 2 18650 batteries) for a screaming 820 max lumens. The dual switch on the rear of the light enables easy operation and mode changing with one hand, instead of the two hand operation required by many flashlights. Maglite (also spelled Mag-Lite) is a brand of flashlight manufactured in the United States by Mag Instrument, Inc. located in Ontario, California, and founded by Anthony Maglica. It was introduced in 1979.[1] Constructed principally of anodized 6061 aluminum, they have a variable-focus beam. Maglites are produced in several colors such as black, silver, blue, and red and different finishes. Original Maglite flashlights had either krypton or xenon incandescent bulbs, and the current product line is gradually transitioning to LEDs.
Today I installed DDM Tuning 35W H7 4500K HID XENON lights on my car and went for a drive.
Sorry for the length of this video but I wanted to capture different angles as I was driving to show how these lights shine. I am very happy with this kit and for shipped to my door you can’t beat it. The ballast is smaller and thinner than a pack of cigarettes. Who needs 55w kit that will shorten the life of the bulbs and not have accurate color? 35W is plenty of brightness although my camera makes it look like these lights are not that bright. You can compare the light of the cars I pass. I will also order another set for the fog lights. My visibility is improved a lot as these are about 4 times brighter than my stock 55W H7 bulbs at almost half the power consumption. They do draw about 5 amps each during ignition but once warmed up within 30 seconds they use less than stock 55w bulbs. Color accuracy is right on and I’m glad I chose the 4500K. They do not have any sign of blue when fully warmed up and I wanted that. The ballast and wiring are of good quality but the lights didn’t come with any instructions so i had to use some common sense during installation. Also the spacers for the H7 type bulb did not work with my bulb fastening clips so i didnt use them and the clips themselves have enough tension to heep the bulbs in there. After installation I had to lower the beam position just a little and made sure I’m not lighting up the trees like some morons out there do with their lights. My car’s headlights are well designed that they will not have a lot of stray …

HID spotlight
(background info) I’m trying to get my sleep schedule back on track. After playing 4 continuous gameplay hours of BIOSHOCK on 360 – I had to find something to do till the morning. So after cleaning my shop for an hour, I came across an old spotlight. The battery was dead, and I didn’t much care for it. So I started to gut the light and switch when I got the idea for making an HID spotlight. luckily I had 4 spare ballasts and matching 10K 9005 lamps. After modifying the case, cutting some holes, finding a battery and working out the bugs – IT WORKS! Time used ~2.5hrs
