I just purchased an 07 Kawasaki Ninja 500r. I have 400 miles on it so far and purchased an HID Upgrade today. Here is what I have. The ballast says Pilot USA HID. HID Ballast for Xenon Bulbs.

I believe the model number (which is right above the S/N is "CNBRT-001-HID"

Can someone explain how to install this. I purchased it from the place I bought the bike. They said the hardest part was to find a place to mount the ballast. The kit will hook up to the stock harness with no problems. Do I need to take the fairing off to get inside the headlight casing? Can I do this from the back of the casing. I have been searching around and can not find any information on my particular bike. THe light is a 35W 6000K H4 bulb. Thank you so much. I hope I Have provided the necessary information for someone to help me. Much appreciation.

UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM!!! ok…so the difference is that i can actually see at night now with my car, the factory housings were such crap, all fogged and cracked up and moisture filled and just totally trashed from wearing out over the years, and the halogen bulbs even with the new housings were only so good, so i finaly got my 8000k xenon headlights. now the road is lit up like daytime. well worth the lil bit of money it cost me. this is without the fog lights in yet, the bulbs that came for those were too long so ive sent those back and just waiting on the shorter ones to come in becuase the grand prix fog light housings are really short. and yes the video is a tad out of focus, my cam keeps doing that lately cant quite figure out why, the battery was kinda low tho so im gonna see if maybe that had something to do with it. also…if you wanna see just how much of a difference these lights make… go to my youtube video here: www.youtube.com and compare my lights in that video to my lights in this video, in that old video i think flashlights being held out the windows woulda worked better. _________________________________________ UPDATE: shop.hidcountry.com thats the kind i have, if you want high beams, get the bi-xenon kit, i never have needed them cuase the low beams are so unbelievably bright so i never bothered buying the bi-xenons, therefore mine has no high beams, also if you want to avoid glare to other drivers, spend the money on the adjustable bulbs. for 1997 …

i got 2 new ballast and hid bulbs , i tried them a week ago they worked fine , now i was going to install them and only the high beam works with both ballasts so i thought it might be the bulbs and tried another pair im still getting same issue … help

It’s simplest ballast/power supply for xenon HID lamp. I made it fully myself.
